Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup mayonnaise or plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Combine the mayonnaise or yogurt, Parmesan cheese, and all seasonings in a medium bowl until smooth.
- Place the chicken breasts in a single layer in the baking dish.
- Spread the creamy mixture evenly over each chicken breast to create a thick, insulating coating.
- Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from heat, let the chicken rest for five minutes, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve.
Notes
- Using a meat thermometer is the best way to ensure the chicken is cooked through without overcooking it to dryness.
- If you prefer a lower-calorie option, plain Greek yogurt works perfectly as a substitute for mayonnaise.
- Resting the chicken for 5 minutes after baking is essential for allowing the juices to redistribute for maximum tenderness.
